Flying to Norway by private jet
A private flight from the Netherlands to Oslo takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. A Light or Super Light Jet often works well and makes a corporate day return possible. Lofoten combines steep mountains, fishing villages, beaches and art. Bodø and Harstad-Narvik are important gateways; Svolvær and Leknes are closer but require a separate aircraft assessment. Summer’s Midnight Sun enables long walks, boating and fishing. Winter brings short daylight, snow and a quieter atmosphere.
Skiing, cabins and distinctive stays
Norway offers major ski areas, small resorts and ski touring. Hemsedal and Geilo are accessible from Oslo; the Lyngen Alps and northern regions focus more on guided touring and boat-based skiing. Skis, avalanche equipment and winter clothing require sufficient hold space and an appropriate vehicle after landing.
A design cabin, historic fjord hotel or private lodge can be the purpose of the journey rather than simply accommodation. Chef, sauna, hot tub, guide and boat are then arranged around one calm base.
