Private flights to Lake Como via Milan Malpensa

Lake Como has no airport of its own for private jets. For Como and many destinations on the western and central parts of the lake, Milan Malpensa is our logical first choice. It sits west of Milan, so the chauffeur can head north after landing without first crossing the city and its busy ring roads.

Why Malpensa before Linate?

Linate has excellent business-aviation facilities, but it lies on the eastern side of Milan. Travelling towards Como means crossing the metropolitan area and ring roads. In light traffic the difference can be modest, but congestion can add significant time. Malpensa is simply better positioned for this direction of travel and therefore offers a more predictable door-to-door journey.

When can another airport still make sense?

Your exact lakeside address remains relevant. Linate may be attractive when the itinerary first includes central Milan, while Bergamo can occasionally be considered for destinations far to the east. When Lake Como itself is the primary destination, however, we use Malpensa as the standard starting point.

From Malpensa to hotel or villa

After landing, a private chauffeur can continue directly to your hotel, villa or meeting by the lake. If you wish, we include these final miles in the journey advice so aircraft, airport and transfer are planned as one complete trip.

Which private jet suits the route?

The right aircraft category depends on your origin, passenger count, baggage, date and current positioning. For many European origins, a light or super light jet is a logical first segment. The final selection is made for the complete mission rather than assuming one fixed departure city.
