Flying privately to Cyprus

A direct private flight from the Netherlands to Cyprus takes approximately four hours. The benefits of your own cabin are especially clear on this route: you fly without a connection, select your departure point and can use the journey to work or relax. On arrival, your chauffeur can be ready for Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Nicosia or a resort inland.

A Super Light Jet combines speed with a comfortable cabin for a small party. A Midsize Jet is often attractive when you want more room, have a larger group or carry substantial luggage. Golf bags, pushchairs and cases for a long resort stay require more space than seat count suggests. We therefore check actual baggage capacity before recommending an aircraft.

Larnaca or Paphos?

Larnaca Airport is normally convenient for Larnaca, Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Protaras and eastern Limassol. Paphos Airport is better placed for Paphos, Coral Bay, the Akamas area, golf resorts and western Limassol. For Limassol, we compare both options using arrival time, availability and the position of your hotel, villa, marina or business address. A small difference in flying distance can prevent a much longer road transfer.

Both airports receive international private flights, although the movement must be coordinated and confirmed in advance. During busy holiday periods, parking and preferred timings may become more restricted. We translate that into a clear choice and, where necessary, an alternative time or the other airport. We handle the detail with the operator and local partners; you only see what matters to the journey.

Limassol, marinas and golf

Limassol is a cosmopolitan coastal city with restaurants, luxury hotels, beach clubs and a modern marina. It is also an important business centre, making it easy to combine meetings with a few leisure days. Beyond the city are resorts, quiet beaches and archaeological locations such as Kourion. A chauffeur can incorporate several appointments or a dinner programme in one transfer plan.

The southwest coast appeals to golfers. Resorts around Aphrodite Hills and other courses in the region combine golf with spas, sea views and villa accommodation. If you bring your own clubs, we select an aircraft that accepts long golf bags without improvisation. For a yacht charter, arrival and transfer are coordinated with the marina and embarkation time.

Paphos, Akamas and the west

Paphos combines coastal resorts with archaeology and a historic harbour. Farther north are Coral Bay, Polis and the Akamas peninsula, where the landscape becomes quieter and more natural. This part of Cyprus suits a villa, intimate resort, boat trip or itinerary of walking and secluded bays. Paphos Airport prevents a long transfer from Larnaca for many western addresses.

Inland routes pass through wine villages and hills. Cyprus has several official wine routes and a long tradition around Commandaria and indigenous grape varieties. A seaside stay can therefore be varied with a private visit to wineries, villages and restaurants. It reveals a side of the island that goes well beyond sun and beaches.

Ayia Napa, Protaras and Troodos

Larnaca is generally the preferred arrival for the clear bays and sandy beaches around Ayia Napa and Protaras. The area ranges from lively beach clubs to villas and family resorts. The atmosphere is calmer outside July and August, while the sea and climate often support a long season.

The Troodos Mountains offer forests, walking routes, traditional villages and cooler air in summer. Snow can even fall in winter. Nicosia adds museums, restaurants and business addresses, but does not have a regular international airport for your private flight; the transfer normally starts at Larnaca. We include driving time when selecting your preferred landing time.

A journey for every season

Cyprus is particularly appealing in spring and autumn, when conditions suit golf, culture, cycling and lunch outdoors. Summer is for beaches, villas and yachts; winter is mild and works for a longer stay, although some seasonal venues close. A business return in one day is possible, but the flight time means one overnight stay is usually more comfortable.

For a multi-day journey, we compare aircraft waiting, drop-and-go and a separate return. You receive one proposal bringing together aircraft, airport, chauffeur and return structure. If the destination area is already known, you may share it later or include it voluntarily for more tailored airport and transfer advice. We will create a personal charter proposal centred on comfort and flexibility from the moment you leave.

Frequently asked questions

Practical information for your flight to Cyprus.

How long is a private flight to Cyprus?

A direct private flight from the Netherlands to Larnaca or Paphos takes approximately four hours. Winds, routing and departure airport affect the final flight time.

Is Larnaca or Paphos better for Limassol?

It depends on the exact location in or around Limassol, arrival time and available flight options. We compare both airports across the complete door-to-door journey.

Which aircraft suits a flight to Cyprus?

A Super Light or Midsize Jet often suits this longer European sector. For more passengers, golf bags or substantial holiday luggage, a larger cabin may be sensible.

Is Cyprus suitable for a private flight outside summer?

Yes. Spring and autumn are excellent for golf, culture and outdoor activities, while winter is mild. We account for seasonal hotel and venue opening.
